About the Event
You are invited to a Victorian funeral.
Sit with us in our Victorian parlour and learn about the sometimes strange and macabre practices and traditions surrounding death and dying in the Victorian period. Get up close with genuine artefacts that are normally kept locked away then find comfort in a hot drink in our Visitors centre.
Mourning dress not essential but encouraged.
