About the Event
Visit the festively-bedecked Southchurch Hall and see how Tudors celebrated and marked Christmastide in days of old. Learn about past traditions, the Saints Days and decorations that made their festivities so special, and understand their origins and significance.
Children can explore the rooms of the building and learn more about the history of Christmas with a trail sheet which describes and explains these traditions!
While you are here, visit our shop for gifts and stocking fillers!
Entry fee: Free to visit
Trail sheet: £1.50 (with a free pencil)
