Prittlewell Princely Burial Exhibition Guided Tour - 25th August

Join our guide and see the incredible discoveries from the rich grave of a person buried in the kingdom of the East Saxons c1400 years ago. On the tour we will be considering the context of the finds from Prittlewell and the history of the Early Medieval Period as well as considering key questions around identity, belief and culture.

The tour will be free at point of booking though any donations to support Southend Museums will be greatly received. Please note Central Museum will not be open to the general public on the day of the tour so please arrive promptly at 2pm outside the front door of the museum.
