Into the World of Surrealism

Explore the world of surrealism through the eyes of Edwin G. Lucas - a Scottish self-taught artist whose artworks can currently be enjoyed in the Beecroft Art Gallery.

Whether you're a creative at heart or are looking for something new to try - this is the perfect workshop for you!

You will start off the workshop with a visit of the exhibition to learn a little bit about the artist. Get inspired by the surrealist artworks and colours, before heading upstairs to have a go yourself! You will be guided by local artist and educator Philippa Stewart to create your own surrealist paper collage artworks inspired by the exhibition.

The art workshop will last for 2 hours in total, with a short break in between.
