Essex Grrrl Zine Workshop

Join us on 27 February anytime from 6 - 8 pm, alongside Beecroft Art Gallery's This Is What An Essex Girl Looks Like exhibition, to create our own self-published zines. We're challenging the Essex Girl stereotype, writing our own narratives and documenting our experiences in a relaxed, creative form of self-care through collage, writing and drawing. 

We'll also learn about the history of zine-making and the women who came before us- as well as taking a look at the Grrrl Zine Library, which is permanently housed at The Old Waterworks in Westcliff-on-sea.

They'll be an opportunity to duplicate our zines to share with friends, family or to distribute throughout town.

Zines can also be donated to the exhibition for display or public reading. Click here to secure your space now!
