About the Event

Celebrate Pride this year with a queer twist on historic legends and stories.

This tour will give an introduction to LGBT-themed collections in Southend Central Museum and the Beecroft Art Gallery, exploring the history and narratives behind them. Hear fascinating tales of love and romance from our engaging tour guide and marvel at the histories behind the artefacts on display!

The tour is 45 minutes in total, after which you will have a chance to enjoy a free coffee in the Beecroft Art Gallery seating area.

  • Tickets are only £2/person!
  • We recommend a minimum age of 10 years due to the length and content of the tour.
  • Please book the amount of tickets equal to the number of people in your group.
  • The tour will start from the Central Museum main atrium.
